Mobile Eye and the Batsheva Dance Company

Another of our core educational goals for this trip is to explore Israel as a beacon of Jewish and Hebrew culture. Following lunch, we headed to Mobile Eye, the company that has created the technology that will direct driverless cars. One of the chief engineers, Mois Navon explored the rise of the company as part of the larger Startup Nation phenomenon. How does a small country produce so much innovation? His answer, in a word, is purpose. By describing his personal story, we followed his journey to Israel, toward becoming a rabbi, always being helped by other Israelis along the way, and an immense pride for his country and the Jewish people more broadly.
